Madonna Adams

An experienced Legal Counsel with extensive expertise in leading the successful delivery of a comprehensive range of global legal services which has facilitated highly profitable Joint Ventures, Infrastructure Projects, Leasing, Management Buy- Outs, Mergers, Acquisitions and Financial Re-structuring.

She has proven track record of engaging in effective strategic stakeholder engagement involving a thorough knowledge of the legislative environment and commercial realities; effective management of external legal service providers, constructive collaboration and communication with colleagues and Board members to achieve material results on time and within budget.

Madonna was appointed as a Commissioner in 2011 and became Chair in 2017. Madonna has been Chair of Governors of a rural primary school for 19 years and has had 6 Ofsted inspections, all of which have been successful. She is a Regional Systems Leader for Governance (North of England).
