Sailing club deploys race markers

LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS

NO. 3 OF 2025

DEPLOYMENT OF THREE SPECIAL MARKS IN VICINITY OF WHITEHAVEN HARBOUR

This notice is hereby given to alert all mariners to the deployment of three special marks by Whitehaven Sailing and Boating Association. 

Each mark is can shaped and has no lights, top marks or sound signals. All three are yellow and of 1,100mm in both diameter and height. 

The following buoys are for yacht racing purposes and are distinctly marked with WSBA in black:

Outer Limit Mark     54°32.885'N     3°36.611W

Whitey Rock             54°33.5'N         3°36'W

Saltom Bay               54°31.8'N         3°38'W
